Save Mother Earth

Every year on April 22, over a billion people in 190 countries take action for Earth Day.
Earth Day 2014 will focus on the unique environmental challenges of our time. As the world’s population migrates to cities, and as the bleak reality of climate change becomes increasingly clear, the need to create sustainable communities is more important than ever. Earth Day 2014 will seek to do just that through its global theme: Green Cities. With smart investments in sustainable technology, forward-thinking public policy, and an educated and active public, we can transform our cities and forge a sustainable future. Nothing is more powerful than the collective action of a billion people.

As the global organizer behind Earth Day, Earth Day Network creates tools and resources for you to get involved with Earth Day in your community.

Here’s how we are participating. We are blessed with rich mineral belt and power plants. But this also results in depletion of SOIL and addition of FLY ASH. It takes 100 years to replace the soil for 5 cm thickness & only 100 min to remove. Due to distorted polices & lack of awareness we damage the environment in both ways by using soil for clay bricks we are damaging the soil cover & creating risk of damaging the agricultural land on the other hand we are generating huge fly ash but not utilizing government has purposed use of flyash in 100 km radius of power plant but it is not imposed strictly. As responsive citizen we should avoid using clay bricks &use fly ash instead.

Similarly reported that we use trees for funeral so also for building material. We started a small revolution some 17 yrs earlier by introducing R.C.C DOOR FRAMES .Keeping fictionalize aesthetics we manage to reduce the cost we can take pride by saying that we have saved at least ONE LAKH trees for last 15 years .let us all think of ways & explore new possibility to save environment & protecting mother earth. Don’t think as mission/duty towards but also look at it as great entrepreneur activity opportunity.

If you like what we write kindly express your opinions so that make difference ‘for mother earth’
